If we compare the preparation for the College Entrance Examination to a marathon, the race has reached the critical moment and we have only less than one-third of the way to the finishing line. Fore every 12th-grade student, this winter holiday is not only a rest station before the College Entrance Exam, but also a gas station and supply depot to adjust their mentality, conserve strength, store up energy as well as prepare for a long journey and a big battle. On the morning of 26th January, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department held the winter vacation review and guidance meeting for Grade 12, which aimed to guide students to make the best of the winter holiday and realize the curve transcendence in the process of preparing for the College Entrance Examination. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Cao Siqing, Deputy Director of the Senior High Department.
To be specific, at the meeting, Deputy Director Cao Siqing reminded students to pay attention to several issues during the holiday season: Firstly, students should make practical and effective learning plans which must be put into practice; Secondly, they were supposed to have regular schedules, reduce unnecessary social events and never engage in dangerous recreational activities; Finally, students should combine exertion and rest to reduce pressure.
Overall, we sincerely hope students from the 12th grade can seize the more-than-ten-day holiday, reasonably arrange their review time and truly achieve the leapfrog development.
